American Artist, Bukaty, is able to transform an event into a masterpiece. His explosive color and chaotic composition captures the energy and feeling of any room. Bukaty is most noted for his images of musicians, painting live while they play on stage. He has painted hundreds of events including Jazz Fest, Wakarusa, Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival and Aspen Jazz Fest. His portraits include artists such as: Van Morrison, Black Crowes, Paul Simon, J.J. Cale, Robert Randolph, Warren Haynes, North Mississippi All-stars, Blues Traveler, Dr. John, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddly and many more. Individuals and corporations throughout the world collect Bukaty’s originals and prints and his event experience includes companies such as Comcast, Sysco Foods, Enturia Western Union, along with a variety of charitable causes. Lately John’s work has gone outside of the realm of music to expressing his passion through abstract work on different mediums, colossal canvases of varying concepts from landscapes, to family representational portraits.
