"Go Tell It On The Mountain" Verbier Art Battle
Verbier Sculpture Park Verbier

Art Battles is proud to be part of the opening of The 3-D Foundation's first high altitude Sculpture Park and Artist Residency in Verbier Switzerland.
During the opening reception New York Battlers Sean Bono and Lexi Bella will battle two local Swiss artists Gregory Corthay and Nicholas Constantin as part of the festivities! There will also be a "Burning Mad" a live performance piece where a sculpture is set on fire!

For 5 weeks leading up to the June 25th reception, a roster of emerging and critically acclaimed Swiss, British, and New York based artists have been invited to create a museum without walls.
The curatorial premise set by Paul Goodwin, Curator of Contemporary Art at Tate Britain presents this as "GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN: TOWARDS A NEW MONUMENTALISM" This new residency will propose a new approach to public art and monumental sculpture based on ecological and social sustainability; awareness of global cross-cultural issues and local community involvement; and man's relationship to the mountains.

It is sure to be an amazing event!
